OUR AREAS OF WORK

Social Justice

The Inclusivity Project and its partners work to advance social justice for Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent (CDWD) by addressing the systemic and historical discrimination these communities face across many parts of the world.

Through collaboration with grassroots organizations and community leaders, the Inclusivity Project supports efforts that strengthen the voice, visibility, and leadership of CDWD communities in local, national, and global policy spaces. The work focuses on challenging structural inequalities that limit access to basic rights and services such as water and sanitation, dignified livelihoods, education, and safe living conditions.

The Inclusivity Project and its partners also engage with international development and human rights processes, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to advocate for the recognition of work and descent-based discrimination and to ensure that the concerns of CDWD communities are reflected in policies and development agendas.

By promoting community-led advocacy, knowledge sharing, and partnerships, the initiative works to ensure that development efforts are inclusive and that CDWD communities are meaningfully involved in shaping the decisions that affect their lives. Ultimately, this work contributes to advancing dignity, equality, and social justice for communities discriminated on work and descent
